My best addresses in Ibiza

My refreshed Ibiza blog is here!

I have only one mission: to share all my favorite spots with you. We have been coming here for years – it is our place to recharge, refuel, gain new inspiration… and above all, to just enjoy ourselves immensely. And like every vibrant place, Ibiza is constantly changing. New addresses pop up, established favorites get a fresh makeover, and some gems quietly disappear. So I keep a close eye on everything and happily share all the latest news with you. I get asked so often: “Sofie, that blog is wonderfully detailed, but where do you really prefer to go?

Well, especially for you: my ultimate top 10 favorite spots in Ibiza. From breakfast to sunset drinks, from beach chill to gastronomic enjoyment – everything that instantly makes me happy here.

MY TOP 10

It was a bit of choice stress, but these are really the places that make me very happy to relax & eat:

1. OMAKASE BY WALT: By now a friend, and what a passion that man has! Thanks to his dedication, he earned a Michelin star. Eating at Walt is truly an experience: you stand on the street and think “am I in the right place?” – it’s that hidden. But once you step inside, you find yourself in a minimalist Japanese speakeasy where you are completely immersed in Japanese tradition. Pure seasonal class, down to the smallest detail. He uses only locally caught fish.

2. IBIZA FOOD STUDIO BY BORIS BUONO: We’ve known Boris for years, and every time it’s a celebration to eat here. He also has Bistro Mondo a bit further north – also top! But here, in his Ibiza Food Studio, you’re really in a kind of food paradise, hidden in a rougher corner of the island. Boris is such a “crazy in the coconut” type, but in the best way possible: rock-n-roll, passionate, seasonal to the bone and always full of flavor. You sit in an open kitchen, it’s small and romantic, with a vibe that is just right. The wine selection? Always on point. There’s also a terrace upstairs!

3. GASTROBOAT WITH PEPITA AND TONI: Really a dream day at sea, with incredibly delicious food from start to finish! Toni is a fisherman and captain, Pepita the warm hostess – two locals with hearts of gold. Toni takes you to an idyllic bay, where you can snorkel, swim, or just chill in the sun. And in the meantime… eat, eat, eat! Everything is super fresh, pure, and generous – so definitely leave with an empty stomach. Nothing fancy or hip, just old school enjoying with lovely people and honest flavors. One of my favorite outings on the island!

4. CAN BALAFIA: A true institution on the island! No menu, no fuss – just the tastiest tomato salad with local chips, aioli to die for (homemade of course), and then choose which piece of meat goes on the grill. Simple, pure, and always delicious!

5. BON SOL: We’ve been coming here since Grace was not yet born! Down to earth Italian on the beach of Cala Vadella. First a pizza to share, then a pasta and that lovely salad with orange, carrot, and fennel. And of course a negroni. This is really our spot.

6. CAN MUSON: Are you located more centrally on the island? Perfect place to go for breakfast! Everything is delicious and homemade, and I also do my shopping there: top farm shop full of fresh, local products. It doesn’t get more authentic than this!

7. AGUAMADERA: The hotel offers a beautiful setting and location, designed as a refuge for nature, gastronomy, and art. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy conversations under a starry sky, and stay in beautiful rooms. Aguamadera is a true recommendation for anyone wanting to experience the pure Ibiza!

8. SUPUN: On the road from Sant Josep to Ibiza. A new, small, cozy bao, noodle & sake bar where the baos are homemade, and you can enjoy delicious slurping of ramen, bao buns, or even gratinated oysters, all perfectly paired with the best sake. You sit at the bar or at the tables, and there is also a terrace!

9. CAN PILOT: A local favorite that we go back to every time. You choose your piece of meat, fries, and mushrooms at the bar. You get a grill on the table and cook it yourself! Roquefort sauce or pepper sauce? Simple, generous, and so delicious – you definitely won't leave here hungry!

10. NUDO: Delicious, beautiful, and right on the beach! I always go for the chef’s cut: a whole fish that they divide into different pieces, cooked with a lot of fire and flair. Truly rock-n-roll, with a kitchen team full of international chefs. And after eating? Relaxing on the beach – blissful, right!

BONUS: Sipping cocktails at Juls Ibiza: An incredibly beautiful place, with a shop as well. The gourmet cocktails here are truly BEYOND.

NEW IN TOWN

In addition to my regular favorites, I have discovered a few new gems this year. Some have just opened, while others were simply not on my radar – but they all deserve a spot in the blog. Here you will find my NEW SPOTS. Dive in, get inspired… and who knows, we might be enjoying an aperitif together soon...

  • ES FUMERAL: Es Fumeral is a beach restaurant for real foodies – refined, gastronomic, and with top-quality ingredients. The kitchen has a style reminiscent of Jondal: creative, pure, and meticulously finished. Not the cheapest place, but believe me – the menu is worth licking your fingers for. Absolutely worth it if you want to treat yourself to culinary delights by the sea.
  • AMICS: A charming, small-scale spot in Santa Eulalia where you feel at home right away. Everything revolves around sharing, seasonal products, and warm hospitality. Pure, honest, and lovingly prepared – ideal for a cozy evening with friends or family.
  • SAVANNAH: A new coffee spot where you can blissfully sip on everything that is good and fresh. I usually come here after a stop at the Mercat Nou – where I get my fresh olives, some local cheeses, or grilled vegetables – and then I just walk straight ahead for a coffee here. A lovely moment. Sitting quietly, good coffee, a bit of people-watching… My favorite combo.
  • CASANIS: The little brother of L’Apero, and you can feel it immediately! Located in a cozy street in the heart of Ibiza town, full of life, atmosphere, and French charm. Here you enjoy a good glass of wine, share a plate or three with each other, and before you know it, you’ve been chatting for hours in that typical Casanis cozy moment. A place where you walk in for an aperitif… and suddenly stay late.
  • POMELO: Right on the beach of Es Figueral, with a view of the sea and your feet in the sand – sometimes that’s all you need. The atmosphere is laid-back, the service is super friendly (they say), and the menu looks promising: tasty, fresh, and colorful. From smoothies to tapas and everything in between. Ideal for a relaxed lunch after a refreshing swim, or a golden hour aperitif while the sun sets into the sea. I haven’t been there myself yet – we went to check it out, but it was still closed then. So now I’m curious: Have you been? Let me know if it’s worth it!
  • RONDA CAFÉ A stylish all-day bar & restaurant in the heart of Ibiza town. Here you start your day with specialty coffee and a delightful breakfast, and you stay for lunch, cocktails, or dinner with international flair. Beautiful interior, nice vibes, and everything super fresh – a place where you easily linger! Formerly known as 'Pantastic'.

FOOD & DRINKS

BEACH

  • BON SOL - CALA VADELLA: Our regular stop at Cala Vadella beach. A down-to-earth Italian with delicious pasta. We always go for a pizza to share, followed by spaghetti with prawns and zucchini. Finish off with banoffee pie!
  • JOCKEY CLUB (SALINAS) : A staple on the island for 30 years with well-prepared dishes and a nice vibe.
  • EL CHIRINGUITO (ES CAVALLET): A very nice beach restaurant with lovely sunbeds! They also have a super cool shop with all sorts of gadgets. The cocktails here are top-notch: the margarita with mezcal is my favorite. You must also try the spaghetti with crab and the super fresh oysters. If we can't check into our hotel room yet, we come here for breakfast first. The fresh juices and green toast are a good choice.
  • EL SILENCIO (CALA MOLI): The natural boho setting and the view from the beach restaurant El Silencio is incredibly beautiful! With your feet in the sand at very spacious tables and comfortable seating, it doesn't get better than this. Enjoy delicious Mediterranean dishes or chill with a cocktail by the large pool. The food on this beach is organized by Urusai, definitely worth stopping by for a bite!
  • CAN VICENT (CALA CARBO): A nice restaurant with classic dishes, located at our favorite bay!
  • BALNEARIO CALA CARBO: A cozy spot with timeless classics on the menu, located on the same favorite bay as Can Vicent. Right on the beach & incredibly delicious!
  • SES ROQUES (CALA COMTE): Grace loves to jump into the water from the high rocks here. A romantic restaurant on top of the rocks, the view over the water is truly unique.
  • AIYANNA: Boho chic with a sea view, at Cala Nova beach. Here you can have lunch under colorful umbrellas with your feet in the sand and a plate full of healthy Mediterranean delicacies. Think: fresh salads, grilled fish, delicious cocktails, and an interior that makes you want to take a spontaneous photo. Lovely atmosphere, live music, and a bit of that Tulum in Ibiza vibe – always a good idea!
  • href="https://www.tropicanaibiza.com/nl/" target="_blank" title="https://www.tropicanaibiza.com/nl/">TROPICANA (CALA JONDAL): A nice place to enjoy good food like at Pacha on your sunbed. The ‘championcortador de jamón’ cuts the best ham for you according to etiquette. Here we gladly enjoy the paella while lying down!
  • ES TORRENT: The restaurant here is an institution on the island, a place you really must have visited! The sea cucumbers, raors (fried fish) and fideuà, paella with pasta instead of rice… all top dishes on the menu! And the caramelized pineapple is a must too! I was lying next to footballers Andrea Pirlo and Xavi Hernandez, who had just played the World Cup final Italy-Spain against each other and were resting brotherly in the beach chairs afterwards.
  • SES BOQUES: This family-owned place became popular since George Clooney came here. They have honored the Ibizan cuisine since 1974: marinated tuna, Andalusian octopus, paella and langostasalteada are a must-try here. These dishes never disappoint!
  • BRISA DE LA MAR (CALA PADA): A renowned family restaurant since 1986. You must try the parrillada de pescado y marisco fresco, simple but very tasty. You can still enjoy it in the sun loungers on the beach.
  • SA CALETA: This iconic fish restaurant is right on the beach of Es Bol Nou – or as the locals call it: Sa Caleta. A staple on the island for over 30 years and super popular with the locals. Known as one of the best places for fresh fish, straight from the sea to your plate! The beach is actually closed now because that fantastic rock is crumbling, but that's certainly no reason not to go - the food is amazing!
  • THE FISH SHACK: The Fish Shack, also known as Chiringuito de María, is located on the beach of Talamanca, just east of Ibiza Town. Once a hidden gem where only locals came, now a cozy mix of island residents and vacationers. The atmosphere? Always relaxed and casual. Here they don't have a menu, and you can only eat fish. The suggestions are read aloud, and there is more than one dessert per menu.
  • ES BOLDADO: There are places that speak for themselves – and Es Boldado is one of them. A staple on Ibiza for decades, loved by both locals and tourists. Here you come for super fresh fish, seafood, shellfish, and paella that will make you lick your fingers. Antonia and her husband Rafael run the place with a lot of love, and you can taste it in every plate. You eat here with a view of the sea, but not on the beach itself.
  • PORT DE BALANSAT: Port Balansat has been a fixture on Ibiza since the 1970s – and it still is today. Their secret? Top quality and super fresh local fish and seafood. Everything revolves around pure flavors and honest ingredients, and you can taste that in every dish. Both locals and tourists love to sit here for an extensive lunch or dinner. And their bullit de peix? According to many, the best on the island!
  • SA TRINXA: Sa Trinxa is the legendary beach club of Ses Salines - and has been since 1978. That laidback, authentic atmosphere that has become rare on the island. No glitter & glamour here, just plastic sunbeds, simple umbrellas, and of course that iconic green jetty - probably the most photographed spot in Ibiza after Es Vedrà! DJs are no longer allowed here, but the vibes are still gooood!
  • CASA JONDAL: A cozy launch on the beach. The food here is beyond delicious: a flavorful and refined menu with the best seafood. Quite expensive, but TOP!
  • LA ESCOLLERA: A classic on the beach of Es Cavallet, where you eat with your feet in the sand and a view of the sea. Known for its paella, fresh fish, and Spanish classics - all lovingly prepared and served in a laidback, stylish setting. Families, locals, and romantic couples come together here to enjoy long meals under the sun. Ibiza as it should be
  • AMANTE IBIZA: If you're looking for a place with a wow factor, then you're definitely in the right spot! Located on the cliffs of Sol d'en Serra, with a view of a secluded bay and the turquoise sea - pure postcard material. You eat Mediterranean here with a refined twist, everything super fresh and stylishly presented.

FINE DINING

  • OMAKASE BY WALT: A hidden gem in Ibiza town with only 10 seats at the bar. Chef Walt serves the best sushi here according to the rules of Japanese art. Fine dining at its purest, with passion and an impressive sake pairing menu.
  • NUDO: Rock-'n-roll vibes on the beach of Es Figueral. The chef's cut is a surprising menu in several courses. Fresh fish, natural wines, an international kitchen team, and afterwards lounging on the beach.
  • IBIZA FOOD STUDIO BY BORIS BUONO: We have known Boris for years, and every time it is a celebration to eat here. By the way, he also has Bistro Mondo a bit further north – also top! But here, in his Ibiza Food Studio, you are truly in a kind of food paradise, hidden in a rougher corner of the island. Boris is such a “crazy in the coconut” type, but in the best way imaginable: rock-'n-roll, passionate, seasonally focused to the core, and always bursting with flavor. You sit in an open kitchen, it’s small and romantic, with a vibe that is just right. The wine selection? Always on point. And for those wanting to escape the heat or kitchen smoke: there’s a small terrace at the top where you can catch your breath. A staple for us, every time again!
  • JUL'S: Jul's opened in June 2018 and made an immediate impression. The concept of dinner & dance caught on right away: first enjoy an extensive sharing dinner together, then hit the dance floor with a live DJ. Great food, good music, cocktails, and atmosphere – Jul's is much more than just a restaurant, it’s a true experience from start to finish
  • CASA LHASA: Casa Lhasa, a hidden gem in the picturesque village of Sant Llorenc, directly across from the popular La Paloma, is the place for lovers of natural wines. Enjoy honest, pure dishes made from seasonal, local ingredients in an artistic setting with a cozy indoor garden. Perfect for a relaxing evening with jazz, soul, and funk in the background, and of course a glass of wine in hand.
  • HAMBRE: An incredibly delicious restaurant slash wine bar, but honestly? It would be a shame to just have a glass here and miss out on the original dishes. Small menu, big flavor! They only have a handful of tables, so reserving is really not a luxury. The guys who work here are so cool.
  • ES FUMERAL: Es Fumeral is a beach restaurant for true foodies – refined, gastronomic, and with top-notch ingredients. The cuisine has a style reminiscent of Jondal: creative, pure, and meticulously finished. Not the cheapest spot, but believe me – the menu is worth licking your fingers. Absolutely worth it if you want to treat yourself to culinary delights by the sea.
  • ROCA HOUSE: A blissful mix of restaurant & laidback pool spot, run by a Belgian couple with a sense of style and taste. Here you have breakfast among the olive trees, lunch with freshly made dishes, and finish off with a refreshing splash, located next to a beautiful golf course.
  • CAN BERRIVELL: A magical place in the charming village of San Agustín, where you dine in a beautiful old mansion overlooking the valley. The cuisine is refined Mediterranean with modern accents, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special night out. Stylish, quiet, and pure Ibiza.
  • CASA JONDAL: Simply stunning. One of the most beautiful locations, where Jacquemus currently has a pop-up. It is beautiful, gorgeous, but expensive. A cozy launch on the beach. The food here is beyond delicious: a flavorful and refined menu with the best seafood. A bit pricier, but TOP!
  • NOBU IBIZA BAY: Fine dining at its best, right on the beach of Talamanca. Here you enjoy world-famous Japanese dishes with a Peruvian twist – think: black cod miso, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and of course those iconic sushi rolls as well as paella. All in a super stylish setting with a sea view. Here you will definitely encounter celebrities and famous people!

FARM TO TABLE

  • AGUAMADERA: Farm-to-table restaurant with an open charcoal kitchen, completely off-grid. Pure flavors, local ingredients, and an enchanting setting. You can taste the love for the island in every dish.
  • JUNTOS HOUSE: A cozy farm-to-table hotspot in the north of Ibiza, where everything revolves around local products, sustainability, and community. You eat deliciously fresh from the garden, in a beautifully restored finca with boho vibes. Restaurant, bar, shop, and garden – everything in one place, all made with love.
  • AUBERGINE: From farm to table, a country chic restaurant with plenty of vegetables on the menu. It’s lovely to enjoy on the terrace in the garden, sometimes with live music. Be sure to stop by the little shop as well.
  • CAN MUSON: A quiet organic farm in the east of Ibiza. Ideal for breakfast or lunch while the kids play. There is a farm shop with fresh products from the island, and everything is homemade.
  • TERRA MASIA: Currently under renovation, but absolutely worth keeping an eye on – you don’t want to miss this spot once the doors reopen!

COFFEE & BREAKFAST

  • PANTASTIC: In the center of Ibiza lies Pantastic, a small but delightful place where you can enjoy delicious coffees and lattes. They offer a small but fine selection of breakfast dishes and daily fresh sourdough bread. The bakery has an open kitchen, so I always find myself staring at it; kneading bread has something special! In the old Pantastic, you now find Ronda Café (see at the bottom of the list).
  • SANTA G BAGELHOUSE: Enjoy artisanal bagels and coffee at the trendy new Ibiza café Santa G, next level breakfast or brunch on the picturesque square by the church of Santa Gertrudis. Wim and I indulged in the bagels and coffee, while Grace enjoyed the cinnamon rolls! And in the evening, you can also drink cocktails and experience a modern omakase at a mega long bar.
  • THE MONK COFFEE ROASTERS: Is a modern coffee brew bar in the heart of Santa Eulalia, Ibiza. Coffee for true purists. Here you can enjoy unique single origin coffees. Their focus is on quality and sustainability. They have a tap, like a beer tap, where nitro cold brew is served. How cool is that?
  • PASSION: Very innovative with a healthy selection of juices, smoothies, and breakfast bowls, with many vegan options as well. They have lots of lattes and specialty coffee with superfoods, cakes, and pancakes.
  • BIORGANIC IBIZA: The best acai bowl and juices on the entire island, you will also find vegan takeaway dishes and desserts. I always shop for my superfoods and organic ingredients here. They have everything to make delicious homemade vegan recipes and desserts. I am a fan of the delicious granola, bread, fresh eggs, and all the superfoods you can imagine!

  • EL RINCON DE ES CODOLAR: Here you can enjoy delicious Italian food without breaking the bank. And bonus: the juices are truly next level – fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. Ideal if you want to enjoy in a nice and low-key way! On the other side, there is also a counter with all kinds of dishes they prepare themselves, very low-key and low-budget but super tasty.
  • RITA'S CANTINA: A colorful classic at the harbor of San Antonio, known for its relaxed atmosphere, extensive breakfasts, tapas, and fresh juices. Laidback and always cozy!
  • CROISSANT SHOW: One of the most famous spots on the island, located by the bridge to the old town. Here you can enjoy international breakfasts and of course the tastiest croissants! You often spot party animals looking for hangover food in the early hours…
  • RONDA CAFÉ A stylish all-day bar & restaurant in the heart of Ibiza town. The former 'Pantastic'. I haven't been here due to lack of time, but I will definitely drop by soon.

COCKTAIL

  • LUUM: I haven't been here yet, but apparently, it's amazing! A gem in Santa Gertrudis where refined gastronomy goes hand in hand with a relaxed atmosphere. Chef Bruno Hernández serves creative dishes with seasonal ingredients, perfect for sharing. Combine that with elegant cocktails, a stylish interior, and a charming terrace under the stars… and you’ll understand why this is such a beloved spot.

TAPAS

  • DESTINO BAR DE TAPAS: A top tapas bar in the village of Sant Joseph, typically Spanish and always pleasantly busy! The best tapas ever, classic and not expensive. You choose the tapas at the bar and then enjoy to the fullest.
  • COMIDA SAN JUAN: A classic small tapas bar where you might have to wait for a spot, simple fresh dishes, lots of fish, a bit further than the boutique Jeffrey’s in Ibiza town. Not too expensive!
  • BAR ANITA: An iconic bar in the village of Sant Carles, very popular with locals. Always pleasantly busy on the terrace and very simple. You can stop by for a quick bite, tapas, and a drink… but also for coffee, liqueur, and typical desserts from Ibiza, such as the flaó (cheesecake with mint and anise). My favorite!

Bold, stylish, and above all... incredibly delicious. Ideal for a hearty dinner with just that little extra flair! Chefs cutting skewers on your plate, divine, definitely a spot to discover.

FISH

  • THE FISH SHACK: A unique little restaurant in the open air on the rocks by playa Talamanca, east of Ibiza, with a beautiful view and friendly service. Here you come for super fresh fish, seafood, shellfish, and paella that will make you lick your fingers. PARTY

When the kids go to sleep, it's time for mama & papa to step out into the world. Here you will find my tips, away from mass tourism:

  • DC10: An absolute legend among clubs – raw, underground, and world-famous for its Circoloco parties. No glitter or VIP nonsense, just hard dancing with your feet in the dust and the sun on your head. If you want to know what real Ibiza vibes are just once... then this is the place to be. Our friend Luciano played here, and we were there, and it was worth it.
  • COVA SANTA (WOOMOON, STORYTELLERS): Not just a regular party, but a total spectacle full of music, theater, art, and magic. Storytellers immerses you in a dream world where every detail is perfect – from fairy-tale decorations to surprising performances. Think: a bit of rave, a bit of festival, a bit of Alice in Wonderland. If you love creativity, good beats, and a touch of madness, then this is really something for you! They organize evenings here with different themes.
  • COSMIC PINEAPPLE AT PIKES HOTEL: This enchanting place is the ultimate destination for anyone looking for a unique and mystical experience on this world-famous island. Monthly, these Cosmic Pineapple parties with local hippie markets are organized. The Wham! music video was filmed there, and Freddy Mercury celebrated his legendary birthday there. These events are not to be missed.
  • PIKES PRESENT AT 528 IBIZA: A magical evening at one of the most iconic places on the island! Pikes has been known for its legendary atmosphere for years, and with 528 Ibiza they bring a unique mix of fine dining, art, and performance. Think: surprising flavors, theatrical acts, live music, all in that typical rock-'n-roll setting of Pikes.
  • AMNESIA: Well, if you ever want to really party until dawn... then this is the place. One of the oldest clubs on the island, and you can feel it: legends behind the decks & crazy vibes. Just a good chunk of Ibiza history where you are guaranteed to stumble out with glitter on your face and a smile from ear to ear.

ACTIVITIES & KIDS

Ibiza is great food & great drinks, but if you love adventure, here are some more tips. Also some things you can discover together with the kids!

  • YOGA WITH FRANCESCA MARCHIORO: The team and I had the pleasure of hosting Francesca for a yoga session in our little house on an early morning. I definitely recommend contacting Francesca to start your morning just right! Francesca is a beautiful spiritual lady, this is not your average yoga. Very warm and friendly person,
  • HIKING: For those who love hiking, this is really a must-do! They take you on the most beautiful hiking trails on the island: along cliffs, through pine forests, to secret beaches and viewpoints that you would never find by yourself. Always in small groups, with good vibes and a lot of love for nature.
  • OUTDOOR KARTING: In Santa Eulilia and San Antonio, we are fans of the latter!
  • BOAT TOURS: You can't have been to Ibiza without renting a boat! On the Gastro Boat of the couple Toni and Pepita, you will be treated to an incredible trip and a culinary discovery tour from aperitif to tapas and coffee with dessert. Fisherman and captain Toni finds the most beautiful bay to drop anchor and cook on-site with super fresh fish, prawns, and langoustines. Pepita is also the coziest hostess, you will never regret this!
  • OJO WINE ESTATE: I had the unique opportunity to visit this beautiful, organic vineyard of Dieter Meier (musician and frontman of Yello) and taste their natural wines. The way there is also incredibly beautiful, on top of the world from San Mateo. For the true wine connoisseurs: the best restaurants on the island serve their wines, from white to rosé and red wine! (El Chirenguito Es Cavallet, Six Senses, Cala Bonita, El Silencio, Can Pilot, and Jockey Club Salinas)
  • CAN MUSSON: Quiet organic farm in the east of Ibiza. Ideal for breakfast or lunch while the kids play. There is a farm shop with fresh products from the island and everything is homemade.
  • PADDLE BOARDING: In Cala Vadella, where you can paddleboard among the boats in a beautiful bay. Enjoy the crystal-clear water, relax on the beach, and explore the surroundings. With restaurants, beach bars, and an ice cream parlor, it's the perfect place for a fun and relaxing day! It's actually one of our favorite beaches with our favorite Italian Bol Sol! We relax on the beach with an ice cream while Grace shows off on her paddleboard
  • ALPACA FARM : The first Alpaca farm on the island with Belgian owners! Animal lovers can indulge their hearts and – yes, you can even do alpaca yoga there. In the shop, you can also score the most beautiful handwoven textiles and accessories made from alpaca wool.
  • HORSE RIDING HORSE COUNTRY CLUB: Do you ride horses? Then you must visit the Horse Country Club Ibiza! Enjoy a horseback ride in nature and on the beach, a great experience for young and old.
  • IBIZA RACO: An adults-only hotel run by a French woman with Brigitte Bardot looks and her Argentine husband. On Sundays, kids are also welcome to enjoy food, drinks, and live music by the pool, super chill and a fun atmosphere. Here you can also drink very tasty cocktails
  • SISTERS OF BEAUTY: In Belgium, I sometimes don't have time for a manicure and pedicure due to the busyness. Luckily, there is this gem to go to!
  • KIM'BEAU HAIR SALON: In Belgium, I sometimes don't have time to go to the hairdresser, but in this place, I have 100% confidence that I will come out feeling completely fresh.

SHOPPING & MARKETS

FASHION

  • MIA IBIZA: A very nice warm lady who also designs clothes. Bags, super nice jewelry that she designs herself, but she also upcycles other existing pieces. And yes, that black dress below I have in a rust color, simply fantastic. You don't have to iron it, just pack it in your suitcase and go!
  • PEDRO: Designs the most beautiful custom leather products, such as sandals and bags, where the biggest stars also come by. Not often open, but definitely worth a visit!
  • VICENTE GANESHA: This is where I shop for the coolest shirts and original vintage pieces!
  • IBIZA CODE: They have a store in and just outside the city in a beautiful building with nice clothing, accessories, and the most delightful scents.
  • ANTONIOLI: A stylish concept store in Ibiza town for those who love high-end fashion and minimalist vibes. Think: sleek lines, exclusive brands, and an interior that makes you spontaneously pull up your Pinterest. A perfect stop for a dose of quiet luxury shopping.
  • JEFFREY’s: Truly the most beautiful shop ever by a Belgian couple with a separate store for women, men, and accessories. I always get compliments when I wear something from there!

FOOD

  • CAN GOURMET: The trattoria with the best sandwiches on the island, but also has a nice selection of olive oil and wines. My favorite sandwich is definitely with sobrasada! They also won the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice award.
  • CAN CAUS : Delicious grill restaurant near Santa Gertrudis. Companatge is right next door and is an authentic shop with local products; I often buy my meat, organic goat cheese, yogurt, and beautiful wicker baskets there. Everything is 100% homemade!
  • TERRA MASIA: An organic farm in the peaceful countryside near Santa Eularia. At this Instagrammable spot, you can stroll through the vegetable garden and also stay for a meal! Be sure to check out the dishes I previously made there with our friends… Now under renovation
  • EL RINCON DE ES CODOLAR: Specialty shop with Italian delicacies. You can enjoy a lovely breakfast with coffee or the best juices, must try!
  • CAN MUSON: Are you located more centrally on the island? Perfect place to go for breakfast! Everything is deliciously homemade, and I also do my grocery shopping there: a top farm shop full of fresh, local products. It doesn't get more authentic than this!
  • CAN CRISTOFOL: A charming organic farm and shop in the green heart of Ibiza. Here you buy super fresh vegetables and fruits straight from the garden, artisanal products, and taste homemade dishes on the cozy terrace. Everything is organic, local, and done with a lot of love.

ART & INTERIOR

  • THE LOST ARTIST: The art gallery of British artist and our good friend Christopher Stone, his signature design is the image of the Podenco dog.
  • MELINDA BALIS: An artist with a powerful, expressive style – her work bursts with color, emotion, and feminine energy. In Ibiza, she draws inspiration from the light, nature, and the island feeling. A real recommendation for those who love modern art with a soulful touch
  • LA GALERIA ELEPHANTE: This is boho shopping at its best! This colorful concept store is a paradise for the hippie style. Ideal for finding a gift for family, friends, or yourself.
  • CASA BEDOUIN: A place you just must walk into when you're nearby. Everything breathes Ibiza: natural materials, warm tones, and that relaxed atmosphere that instantly calms you down. Not an ordinary store, but rather a place full of inspiration. You walk out wanting to redecorate your entire house. Or at least with a handmade lampshade under your arm.
  • KSAR LIVING: The showroom along the Sant Joan road is just like a home full of stories. Everything breathes natural materials, clean lines combined with soft textures – perfect for those who live with a capital W. A true tropical vibe, with invisibles like calm green tones, warm woods, and that typical 'I-leave-my-worries-behind' feel. For those who want to live stylishly in Ibiza: this is not just an ordinary interior spot, but a curated hideaway where you can elevate your home to a new level.

MARKET

  • MARKET SAN JUAN: This atmospheric hippie market is our favorite on the island! You can browse through the many stalls with handmade products (jewelry, clothing, perfumes, beauty, etc.) and local delicacies (coffee, pastries, etc.). I buy a lot of organic vegetables and fruits for home, and sometimes also fresh cut flowers from an old couple. We love to drink a spicy mango mojito on the terrace of Giri, their avocado cheesecake is also crazily delicious... thank me later!
  • LAS DALIAS MARKET: One of the most famous hippie markets with a cozy and friendly atmosphere in a colorful oasis of clothing, art, music, and gastronomy. You can indulge in shopping for beautiful clothing, jewelry, or handbags, and you can also score beautiful leather boots. It’s the place to be for good food, drinks, and even to throw a party!
  • SANT JORDI: Popular among the locals! You will find many second-hand items for home, but also a van with beautiful boots and rugs. Our dear friend Melinda sells her ceramic Tanit sculptures, the goddess of fertility!

OVERNIGHT STAYS

In Ibiza there are 1001 places to stay – from boho huts to chic villas with sea views. The offering from Harissa Villas includes super authentic places and houses, they have a very nice assortment. We stayed in their Can Alila. Below you will find a list of places we truly enjoyed – not just any addresses, but locations with atmosphere, character, and that typical Ibiza magic. Start packing your bags!

  • HARISSA VILLA’S: Stylish exclusive boutique villas for the ultimate Ibiza experience where the team and I stayed wonderfully this year.

  • AGUAMADERA: The hotel offers a beautiful setting and location, designed as a retreat for nature, gastronomy, and art. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy conversations under a starry sky, and stay in beautiful rooms. Aguamadera is a true recommendation for anyone who wants to experience pure Ibiza!
  • CAN DOMO: Family hotel in boho style, very simple and quietly located in Formentera.
  • FINCA LEGADO: Adults-only hotel in Santa Eulalia del Río, uniquely decorated with great attention to color and design.
  • LES TERRASSES: Delightful stay in Santa Eulalia del Río. We often come here for the delicious couscous one day a week.
  • JARDINS DE PALERM: Small design hotel in San Jose, a magical spot in authentic Ibiza.
  • SIX SENSES: Unique and luxurious resort at Xarraca Bay in northern Ibiza, slightly more expensive.
  • IBIZA RACO: An adults-only hotel run by a French woman with Brigitte Bardot looks and her Argentine husband. On Sundays, kids are also allowed to enjoy food, drinks, and live music by the pool, super chill and fun atmosphere.

I conclude this delightful menu as traditionally with a dessert'e  A banana split from Gelato Ibiza of course!

If you are in Ibiza town, be sure to drop by there. Delicious, a bit old-school, and the perfect sweet ending to this blog.

Until the next sunny discovery, lads!

Let me know what you think, and if you have any spots that are worth sharing - let me know!
