For me, cooking is pure love, my way of bringing people together, creating memories and just having a great time.
Whether you are a pro in the kitchen or have just discovered how much fun cooking can be – I would love to take you on my culinary adventure!
My passion for cooking started in my grandmothers' kitchens. They could do anything: from pâté and stews to the most delicious cakes. Everything was made by hand, without fuss, but with a flavor you never forget. I want to continue that authentic knowledge and artisanal love in my kitchen.
Later, I saw my father prepare his canard laqué – with endless patience and a perfect layer of marinade. The magic around the table, the enthusiasm of the guests… At that moment, I knew: this is what I want to do.
I went to culinary school, deepened my knowledge of pastry at the royal supplier Wittamer, did internships at home and abroad, and became the chef of my own restaurant. In 2009, I was named Best Female Chef of the Year, a moment that accelerated my career. But it didn't stop there.

LOVE IN THE OVEN
Baking is pure joy for me. From rustic bread to airy cakes and crunchy cookies, I can fully express my creativity. The smell of a freshly baked cake filling the kitchen, the moment you cut into a perfectly risen brioche… those are the little moments of happiness that matter. My program “Goe Gebakken” got Flanders baking en masse, and I continue to share that passion – because baking is truly for everyone!

FROM TV SCREEN TO YOUR KITCHEN
You might know me from television, but today I inspire hundreds of thousands of foodies
online via Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and my website. I want to show
that cooking delicious meals doesn't have to be complicated. With achievable recipes, pure
flavors, and baking full of love, I hope to inspire you to whip up something tasty every day.
Besides being a chef, I am also a super proud mother of Grace. Since 2013, my kitchen has not only been a workplace, but also a place where healthy, nutritious and tasty dishes go hand in hand. Healthy eating does not mean 'boring' or 'strict' to me, but balanced, pure dishes with sufficient variation. With my book series "Op de Groei" about nutrition for children, I even won a Gourmand World Cookbook Award - a recognition that makes me very proud.
Sustainability is not a trend for me, but a way of life. Every month I stand
with my feet in the field at farmer Tijs, my regular sustainable vegetable supplier. He teaches me something new every time about seasonal vegetables, growing, and harvesting. That knowledge – just like that of my grandmothers – must not be lost. Sustainable cooking means for me:

MORE THAN JUST COOKING: A LIFESTYLE
Cooking is my passion, but I also love fashion, traveling, and feeling good in my own skin. Self-care and self-love are important to me, and I want to be an example for young people and women who want to enjoy without guilt!
It's not about dieting or perfection, but rather about balance, loving yourself, and especially doing what makes you happy. That's why I take you not only into the kitchen but also behind the scenes of my life: family, travel, lifestyle, and more.
My ultimate goal? To make people happy with what I do. Whether that is through a delicious dish, an inspiring video or a shared moment in the kitchen: It is all about fun, taste and connection.
