What do you need?
Quantity: 1 jar (300 ml)

Salted date caramel
250 g Medjool dates
150 ml coconut cream
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Ontpit de Medjooldadels en laat ze 30 minuten weken in warm water.

Doe de geweekte dadels in een blender samen met de kokosroom, vanille-extract en een snuifje zout.

Mix tot een gladde, romige caramel. Voeg eventueel een klein scheutje van het weekwater toe als de massa te dik blijft.

Bewaar in een afgesloten potje in de koelkast.

Tips

  • Delicious in a latte, with granola, over yogurt or as a dip with cookies. 
  • For an extra deep caramel flavor you can add a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder. 
  • Use soft Medjool dates, which provide the creamiest structure.
