1 red onion finely chopped

Black pepper from the grinder
Salt
Soft butter to spread on the slices of bread

3 tomatoes sliced thinly
10 slices of aged cheddar, or grated

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Mix the tuna, finely chopped red onion and pickle, mustard, and fresh mayo well together. Season with pepper and salt.

Spread butter on one side of the 8 slices of sourdough bread, then flip them over.

Top 4 slices with 1 cm of tuna, 3 slices of tomato, and repeat.

Place 2.5 slices of cheddar on each slice. Place the remaining 4 slices on top, with the butter side facing up.

Heat a frying pan, melt a knob of butter in it, and toast the sandwich, cheese side down, for about 3 minutes on medium heat, until it turns a nice crispy golden brown. Flip the sandwich and toast for another 3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Place on butter paper and wrap the sandwich tightly.

Cut it in half and DIG IN!
