Peel the onion and slice it finely, sauté in olive oil with garlic powder.
Wash the Honey tomatoes and cut them in half, add to the onion with a splash of water, season with pepper and salt.
Let simmer for another 4-5 minutes under a lid.
Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
Portion the cod into pieces of about 5 cm and season with pepper and salt.
Then add the cod and green beans, and top with the basil leaves.
Let simmer for another 4 minutes under the lid.
Finish with extra fresh basil.
Serve as is or with rice, noodles, or steamed potatoes.
Tips
Do you like herbs such as turmeric, ginger and coriander seeds, feel free to add a teaspoon of each at the start of the preparation, at the onion. Replacing water with coconut cream gives it a Thai curry key.
