Ingredients

What do you need?
Quantity: 1 jar (250ml)

Speculoos spread
250 g almond butter (or other nut butter of your choice)
2 tbsp maple syrup
80 ml of water
1 pinch fleur de sel
1 to 2 tsp gingerbread spices to taste
1l vanilla essence

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Place the almond butter, maple syrup, fleur de sel and any gingerbread spices in a bowl or food processor.

Mix or stir everything well until you have a smooth, creamy paste. (Add water to desired thickness)

Spoon into a sealable jar and store in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator.

Tips

  • Add some extra speculaas spices for that typical speculoos flavor. 
  • For a lighter texture, you can add a splash of plant-based milk or coconut oil.
