Pepper and salt

800 g waxy red large potatoes
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp honey
600 g pork ham slice or fillet
1 tbsp lard
Pepper and salt
1 bunch of radishes
1 small red apple
1 red onion
1 small head of lettuce

Yogurt dressing
150 ml yogurt
1 tbsp fresh mayonnaise
1 tsp honey
0.5 bunch chives
1 clove garlic
Pepper and salt

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Cut the potatoes into quarters and boil in salted water. Drain and let cool.

Cut the ham slice into strips. Put the mustard and honey in a bowl. Add the strips of ham and mix well. Season with pepper and salt. Let the lard melt in a pan and fry the marinated strips of ham until they are nicely caramelized. You do this by simply continuing to cook and turning them until the strips are nicely caramelized, then let cool slightly.

Wash the radishes and apple, remove the core, peel the onion, and cut everything into thin slices. Also wash the lettuce and tear it into smaller pieces.

Yogurt dressing: put the yogurt, mayonnaise, and honey in a large bowl together with the finely chopped chives and grated garlic. Season to taste with pepper and salt.

Add the potatoes, pork, apple, red onion, radishes, and lettuce to the bowl with the yogurt dressing. Mix everything well together and serve immediately.

Tips

Face the type of potatoes. For a potato salad it is best to use a fixed type. Also alternate with the vegetables: beans, peas or asparagus are also delicious in this salad.
