5 eggs
750 ml milk
100 g honey
Seeds from 1 vanilla pod
1 tsp cinnamon

300 g white bread
300 g rye-raisin bread
2 croissants
2 large Jonagold apples
Butter and cinnamon
2 handfuls of sunflower seeds
2 handfuls of cashew nuts
1 handful of pumpkin seeds

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Cut all the bread into pieces of 2 cm, with crust.

Place in a baking dish lined with baking paper.

Peel the apples, remove the core, and sauté them with some cinnamon in butter.

Mix them with the pieces of bread in the dish.

Mix eggs, milk with honey, and vanilla together and pour from left to right over the entire mixture in the dish.

Gently mix and briefly so that you keep the air in the bread, press down lightly and sprinkle the nuts and seeds on top.

Bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 185°C.
