1 teaspoon creamy white or whole wheat tahini paste
1 teaspoon honey (optional, to taste)

This recipe is vegetarian. For a vegan version, omit the honey or replace it with agave syrup or maple syrup.

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Place the tahini in a coffee cup. Add honey, if desired.

Mix the tahini and honey well until smooth.

Make a fresh espresso.

Pour the espresso into the tahini while stirring and continue stirring until a creamy, smooth coffee is obtained.

Serve immediately and enjoy.

Tips

Use a good, creamy tahini (preferably made with 100% sesame seeds). - Not a fan of honey? Leave it out or replace it with agave syrup or maple syrup. - For a luxurious version: add warm milk (plant-based works too) and make a tahini latte.
