Ingredients

What do you need?
Quantity: 4P

100 g corn
2 tbsp corn oil
2 tbsp honey
1 vanilla pod

100 g corn
2 tbsp corn oil
2 tbsp honey
1 vanilla pod

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Mix the pulp of the vanilla pod with the honey and rub away all the lumps.

In a large pot with a lid, heat the oil, add the corn, and mix well so that each kernel is coated with a film of oil.

As soon as one starts popping, put the lid on, then shake constantly until you no longer hear any popping.

Remove the pot from the heat, mix in the honey-vanilla mixture, and serve immediately.

Tips

Prepare the vanilla‑honey mixture
Mix the seeds from the vanilla pod with the honey. Rub well to remove any lumps and create a smooth mixture.

Pop the popcorn
Heat the corn oil in a large pan with a lid. Add the corn kernels, making sure each kernel is lightly coated with oil. Once the first kernels start popping, cover the pan and gently shake so that all kernels pop without burning.

Season
Remove the pan from the heat as soon as the popping stops. Mix the vanilla‑honey mixture through the warm popcorn so it glistens and becomes lightly sweet. Serve immediately to keep the popcorn crispy.
