Ingredients

What do you need?
Quantity: 1 jar 500gr

250 g pumpkin seeds (soaked for 1 hour, drained and rinsed)
Juice and zest of 1 lime
100 ml mild olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
1 large, ripe avocado
100 – 150 ml cold water
pepper and salt to taste

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add water until the desired thickness is reached. Season to taste.

Store the spread in the refrigerator, in a jar with a lid.

Tips

  • This is a basic spread, so feel free to add extra chili, fresh herbs, etc.
  • Also try it on chia-quinoa bread.
