What do you need?

Waffles:
300 g self-raising flour
250 ml buttermilk
pinch of salt
70 ml agave
100 ml soft butter
2 eggs
1 vanilla pod
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp beetroot syrup biotona

Icing:
235 g butter
1 tbsp beetroot syrup biotona
1 tbsp agave
juice and zest of 0.5 orange

Mocktail (per person):
8 cl freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
10 cl non-alcoholic bubbles

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Whip the butter, salt, agave, vanilla seeds, cocoa powder, and beetroot syrup together until fluffy. Gradually add the flour, buttermilk, and eggs, mixing until a smooth batter forms. Bake the batter in the waffle iron at medium temperature.

Mix all the ingredients for the icing together and spread over the waffles.

Pour the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice into 2 champagne glasses. Top up with non-alcoholic bubbles of your choice.
