Preparation method

How do you make this?

In an ideal world, you cut your bread slices the day before and place them on a rack so they can dry out. In the morning the bread can absorb the egg mixture better.

Beat the eggs vigorously with all the ingredients or blend with a hand blender.

Place the bread slices next to each other on an oven tray and pour the mixture over them.

Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes and turn them over. Heat up your waffle iron, lightly grease it each time, place the slices between your iron and bake them for about 5 minutes into waffles. Serve immediately with all toppings on the table.

Tips

Experiment with different toppings to discover your own favorite combination. For a crispy result, let the bread dry out well for baking.
