Preparation method

How do you make this?

In an ideal world, you would cut your slices of bread the day before and place them on a rack to dry out. In the morning, the bread can then better absorb the egg mixture.

Whisk the eggs well with all the ingredients or blend them briefly with an immersion blender.

Place the slices of bread side by side on a baking sheet and pour the mixture over them.

Let them rest for 5-10 minutes and turn them over once. Preheat your waffle iron, lightly grease it each time, place the slices between your iron, and bake them for about 5 minutes until they are waffles. Serve immediately with all the toppings on the table.

Tips

Experiment with different toppings to discover your own favorite combination. For a crispy result, let the bread dry out well for baking.
