Making your own lemonade for warm summer days is a very good idea! The base is black tea and fresh mint, mixed with lemon juice and honey.
2 bags of black tea
6 to 8 sprigs of mint
600 ml boiling water
150 ml liquid honey (or more to taste)
250 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
sparkling water
2 bags of black tea
6 to 8 sprigs of mint
600 ml boiling water
150 ml liquid honey (or more to taste)
250 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
sparkling water
Put the tea bags and mint leaves in a pitcher and pour hot water over them, let cool.
Strain and mix in the honey until it is completely dissolved.
Stir in the lemon juice.
Fill a glass with ice cubes and fill it halfway.
Garnish with a slice of lemon and mint.
Top off with sparkling water.
Try a different tea or with grapefruit juice for example. Fresh ginger with the tea joints is also delicious.
