Ingredients

What do you need?
Quantity: 2

150 g raspberries (frozen or fresh in the
season)
juice of 1 orange
400 ml kefir (dairy or vegetable)

150 g raspberries (frozen or fresh in the
season)
juice of 1 orange
400 ml kefir (dairy or vegetable)

Leaf
Make it veggie!

Use plant-based kefir made with soy, oats, or coconut for a vegan and lactose-free version.

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Put the raspberries and the freshly squeezed orange juice in a tall measuring cup or blender.

Blend until a thick, smooth mixture forms, like a soft sorbet.

Divide this fruit puree between two nice glasses.

Carefully pour the kefir over it until the glasses are nicely full. You will get a beautifully layered drink.

Stir a little with a straw or spoon – or not, if you like those beautiful layers!

Tips

  • Use frozen raspberries for an extra fresh effect (and immediately ice cold).
  • Feeling like a change? Replace raspberries with blueberries, mango, or strawberries.
  • Finish with fresh mint, a slice of orange, or chia seeds for an extra glow.
  • Prefer something sweeter? Add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup while mixing.
  • Also delicious as a mocktail or light dessert on a warm day.

Storage:

  • In the refrigerator: You can make the raspberry-orange puree 1 day in advance and keep it cold. Add the kefir just before serving.
  • In the freezer: You can freeze the fruit puree and use it as a base for a smoothie or to re-blend into sorbet.
