Preparation method

How do you make this?

Put all ingredients in a cutter except for the egg. Let it cut so that the butter is finely mixed with the flour. Add the egg and mix briefly until everything holds together.

Make a round flat piece of dough and wrap in plastic wrap. Let it set in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Preheat your oven to 200°C. Roll out evenly and thinly with flour into a slightly more oval shape so you can cut the strips as well. Flour your baking dish and press the dough into it, rolling over it with your rolling pin so that the edges of the dough are trimmed off.

Beat the egg and brush the edges with it. Evenly fill with the jam and lay the strips crosswise on top. Brush these with the yolk as well.

Bake for 15 min at 200° and 15 min at 180°. Let cool.
