A combination of sweet and savory with cherries, cherry tomatoes, honey, and crispy bread crusts. Perfect as a side dish or light dessert.

1 slice of bread 1 tbsp olive oil Pepper from the mill 100 g cherries 100 g cherry tomatoes 1 tbsp honey 8 almonds
Make crusts from a slice of bread: put olive oil in a pan and fry the bread cut into squares until crispy. Season with pepper.
Cut the fruit and tomatoes into pieces and mix in a fireproof dish with the honey. Don't have a good dish at home? Then make a little bowl out of aluminum foil.
Push some crusts and almonds in here and place the dish on the grill until the fruit is soft.
Serve with a dash of sour cream and a turn of my Sweet Mix Amaretto Cassia. Variation: Try other types of fruit such as peaches, apricots or figs. Nut options: No almonds in the house? Replace them with walnuts or pecans for another twist. Vegan option: leave the sour cream or replace it with a vegetable yogurt.
