These crackers are perfect for satisfying any hunger. Delicious on their own, with fresh jam, a slice of cheese, or with a dip like my hummus platter.

Kitchen must haves

Ingredients

What do you need?
Quantity: 1 baking sheet

60 g flaxseed (I use yellow flaxseed here, but brown is also fine)

60 g chia seeds (I use white chia seeds here, but gray is just as tasty)

60 g sesame seeds

1 tsp fennel seeds

1 tsp sea salt

100 ml warm water

60 g flaxseed (I use yellow flaxseed here, but brown is also fine)

60 g chia seeds (I use white chia seeds here, but gray is just as tasty)

60 g sesame seeds

1 tsp fennel seeds

1 tsp sea salt

100 ml warm water

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Preheat the oven to 170 ยฐC.

Put the fennel seeds in a mortar and grind finely. You can also lightly toast the fennel seeds in a pan first. It smells and tastes wonderful!

Put the seeds, herbs, and salt in a bowl and stir.

Add water and mix into a paste.

Let it rest for 2 minutes so that the flaxseed and chia seeds can 'thicken'.

Pour the paste onto baking paper. Cover with another sheet of baking paper and press flat. Try to form a square or rectangle.

Roll out the mixture evenly with a rolling pin to a thickness of 2 to 3 millimeters.

Carefully remove the top baking paper.

Bake everything for 15 minutes in the oven at 170 ยฐC.

Let cool, break into pieces, and store in a nice jar.
