Preparation method

How do you make this?

Peel the onion, leaving the tail on.

Cut the onion in half.

Place the tail at the back.

Slice very thin slices with the potato knife, but not all the way through.

Cut once in half with the potato knife almost to the end.

Now take the chef's knife and chop your onion into fine pieces.
