1 tbsp soft butter
4 slices of gray toast bread
2 slices of cooked ham
200 g grated Emmental cheese
Pickles/onions
Ketchup/mayo

Spread the outside of the slices of bread with butter.

On 2 slices of bread, first place a layer of grated cheese, then the ham, and again a layer of grated cheese.

Press the 2 slices of bread on top and cook in the croque machine or in the pan for about 3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.

Serve with the garnishes on the side.
