Make a tower with the champagne glasses on a platter. This is definitely not unimportant!
Aim for a circular shape with one glass in the middle at the top.
Place all the glasses as close together as possible.
In each glass, except for the top one, place 1 lump of cane sugar with 4 drops of Angostura and add 2 cl of cognac. Finish the top glass after the champagne has been poured.
Fill the top glass with champagne and pour until all glasses are filled.
The party can start!
