What do you need?For the croque
- 4 thick slices of wheat bread (or bread of your choice)
- 8 slices of fontina or provolone cheese
- 4 to 6 slices of Parma ham
- 4 tablespoonsBolognese sauceΒ
For the topping
- 2-3 tablespoonsBolognese sauce
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Storage instructionsΒ
- In the refrigerator: maximum 1 day, well wrapped in aluminum foil or an airtight box.
- In the freezer: up to 1 month, although it tastes best fresh.
- Warm upHeat for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 180Β°C or 3 minutes on a contact grill. Microwaving will make it less crispy.
