Preparation method

How do you make this?

These soups are really power food for your baby. When Grace felt a bit weak and didn't have much appetite, soup always went down easily. I would then add some chicken, rice, or quinoa. For the base of my soups, I use homemade chicken broth, which is the mega-ingredient for me! The broth is also ideal for thinning out Grace's dishes.

Pea soup

  • Bring the broth to a boil.
  • Add the peas and let.
  • Boil for 5 minutes until they are cooked.
  • Add a knob of butter or a splash of olive oil and blend the soup.

Tomato soup

  • Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and add them to the cold broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Let it cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • Add a knob of butter or a splash of olive oil and blend the soup.

Cauliflower soup

  • Cut the cauliflower into small pieces and add them to the cold broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Let it cook until the cauliflower is soft.
  • Add a knob of butter or a splash of olive oil and blend the soup.

Lettuce soup

  • Bring the broth to a boil.
  • Wash the lettuce and spin dry. Cut the lettuce finely.
  • Add the lettuce and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add a knob of butter or a splash of olive oil and blend the soup.

Tips

These recipes are for a portion for you and one for your baby. Keep about 50 ml of soup for your baby. Then season your own portion with salt and pepper. Finely chop the vegetables so that they are cooked quickly. Add green vegetables to boiling broth, white or other vegetables to cold broth. You can freeze the soup. After mixing, let them cook well again, let them cool completely and freeze them as quickly as possible. Don't forget to add a knob of butter or some olive oil to the vegetables, because fat is necessary for your baby.
