Ingredients:

Egg wash: 1 yolk, 1 tbsp milk

1 sheet of puff pastry
6 sage leaves
2 tsp garlic powder
75 g grated cheddar
30 g grated Parmesan

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Roll out your puff pastry to between 16 and 27 cm, other sizes will make your sticks larger or smaller so don't worry too much about that.

Lightly brush your puff pastry with egg wash.

Sprinkle with finely grated cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and sage.

Fold nicely so that you have a band filled with cheese and garlic.

Lightly brush with egg wash, and fold again to create a square.

Roll this out further into a rectangle so that the ingredients and puff pastry stick well together.

Place back in the fridge to firm up.

Now cut strips of about a centimeter with a serrated roller.

Twist them around themselves and place on a baking sheet. Lightly press the ends down on the sheet so they don't come loose.

Bake for 18-20 min at 180°C.
