Ingredients

What do you need?
Quantity: 10 pieces

0.5 cup chia seeds
0.5 cup sunflower seeds
0.5 cup pumpkin seeds
0.5 cup sesame seeds
0.5 teaspoon Maldon salt
0.5 tablespoon dried rosemary
0.5 tablespoon dried thyme
0.5 tablespoon dried garlic
1 cup warm water

0.5 cup chia seeds
0.5 cup sunflower seeds
0.5 cup pumpkin seeds
0.5 cup sesame seeds
0.5 teaspoon Maldon salt
0.5 tablespoon dried rosemary
0.5 tablespoon dried thyme
0.5 tablespoon dried garlic
1 cup warm water

Preparation method

How do you make this?

I could hardly stay away from these savory crackers. The seeds promote good bowel transit. The sunflower and pumpkin seeds contain magnesium, which helps relax your muscles and increases resistance to stress.

Preheat the oven to 175 ยฐC.

Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl and pour the warm water over them. Let it rest for 5 minutes so the chia seeds can swell.

Mix everything with your hands.

Place baking paper on the baking tray and spread the mixture over the baking paper.

Place a sheet of baking paper on top of the mixture and roll out to a thickness of about 3 mm.

Remove the top sheet of baking paper and bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.

Flip the seed cake over and bake further if it is not yet dry.

Break or cut into pieces (if you want nice, square pieces, cut while everything is still wet).

Let the crackers cool completely on the baking tray. Store them in a sealed box in a cool, dry place.

Tips

When the crackers are no longer crispy, just put them in the oven again. I often used the leftovers to sprinkle over a salad or a soup.
