Meatballs:
1 kg mixed ground meat plain
Pepper salt
A knob of butter for frying

Red cabbage:
A knob of butter/lard
1 small red cabbage
Pepper salt
Onion
2 tbsp vinegar
A splash of water

Potatoes:
800 g waxy boiling potatoes
0.5 bunch parsley

Fresh applesauce:
3 Boskoop apples
3 Jonagold apples
200 ml water

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Season the ground meat, shape into meatballs, and fry all around, then let them cook further on a lower heat until they are nicely cooked inside.

Peel the apples, cut into pieces, and stew them in a pot with a lid, let simmer until the water has evaporated and beat them well with a whisk.

Finely chop the red cabbage, sauté in the butter with all the ingredients.

Season with pepper and salt and add water, let simmer for 40 minutes under a lid, stirring occasionally. Start with the red cabbage.
