1 kg tomatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic
2 large yellow onions
1 dried chili pepper
680 g tomato pulp or passata
1 tsp salt

500 g penne or pasta of your choice
200 g grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Chop the garlic and onion finely and sauté lightly for about 10 minutes with the crushed chili pepper. Remove the stems from the tomatoes and cut the tomatoes into small pieces, add them along with the pulp and season with salt. Let simmer for 15 minutes covered with a pinch of salt.

Cook the pasta as indicated on the package, serve with the arrabiata sauce and grated cheese. You can freeze the rest of the sauce or keep it in the refrigerator for 1 week.
