Delicious omelet with hand-peeled shrimp, inspired by my grandmother. Simple, but with a luxurious touch from the fresh shrimp.
2 eggs 2 tbsp buttermilk Pepper Salt A knob of butter 150 g hand-peeled shrimp 1 slice of double-baked white bread, toasted
2 eggs 2 tbsp buttermilk Pepper Salt A knob of butter 150 g hand-peeled shrimp 1 slice of double-baked white bread, toasted
Make an egg mixture with the eggs, buttermilk, pepper, and salt.
Put a knob of butter in a pan, let it melt, and pour the egg mixture over it.
When the eggs are slightly cooked, distribute the shrimp over it and let it warm up for a bit longer.
Delicious with a slice of toasted bread! My mémé always cut the bread with a large bread knife, against her body, exactly as she had done her whole life. Provide sturdy bread, so that it nicely takes care of the creamyness of the omelet.
