250 ml water
1 unpeeled apple, cored

Knob of butter
800 g mixed minced meat
2 tbsp grated cheese
Salt & pepper
1 tsp curry powder

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Mix everything for the minced meat together, form flat balls and brown them on both sides in a knob of butter, place them in a baking dish, they do not need to be fully cooked, they will cook further in the oven.

Peel the apples and cut them into pieces, place them in a large pot with a lid with the water, let simmer gently for 10 to 15 minutes under the lid, stir with a whisk if you want a fine mousse. Spread the applesauce over the meatballs in the baking dish.

Prepare your mashed potatoes and distribute scoops over the applesauce.

Finish off with fine slices of apple that you rub with some melted butter.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 190°.
