Start by making your ice cubes first. I sliced the jalapeño and let it freeze in large square ice cubes. You can also make the ice cubes with mint leaves and lime slices, which looks super nice, but regular ice cubes or crushed ice will work too.
Put the leaves from 3 sprigs of mint, the lime cut into 4, and 1 slice of jalapeño along with the apple juice in a glass and crush everything together so the flavors are released well. Add the ice cubes, pour the Gimber over it, and top off with some sparkling water.
You can make a Mojito cocktail by replacing the apple juice with rum, the rest of the ingredients remain the same. To make Mojito, use white rum. But brown rum is also possible! Add a little cane sugar, because you like that ... you can certainly say nothing 🙂 The type of sugar you use for the Mojito is cane sugar. Sugar syrup is also possible.
