Easy

By making burger tacos, we're putting a creative spin on the traditional hamburger concept. We combine the juicy filling of a hamburger with the crispy charm of a tortilla, folded into the shape of a taco. This recipe is surprisingly simple and perfect as comfort food for the whole family. It's ideal for starting the week or for hosting a taco party with friends. Don't forget to check out my matching cocktails to complete the experience.

Make it veggie!

You can replace the minced meat with vegetarian beef mince or a plant-based burger that you break apart. If necessary, use a little extra oil or butter in the pan, as vegetarian mince often contains less fat than the traditional meat version.

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Dice the onion into brunoise, shred the lettuce into fine strips, and slice the pickle.

Mix the ingredients for the sauce.

Combine the minced meat and form 16 balls. Flatten them on the tortillas.

Melt butter in a pan and fry the meat-tortillas with the meat side down until nicely browned. Flip, add cheese, and cover to let the cheese melt.

Place them on a board, top with lettuce, pickle, sauce, and finish with onion.

Fold them closed and enjoy.

Cook the rest in the same way.
