1 roll of ready-made pie crust or puff pastry
1 large zucchini
400 g mozzarella
2 tbsp tomato sauce (not too runny)
1 tsp oregano
1 tbsp grated Parmesan

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Preheat the oven to 190°C and slice the zucchini into rounds.

Pat the mozzarella dry and slice it into thin rounds, pat it dry again.

Roll out the dough and spread the tomato sauce in a circle, 7 cm from the edge.

Layer the zucchini and mozzarella slices in a spiral pattern and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top. Fold the outer edge of the dough over it.

Cut a star shape in the center of the dough with 8 points, fold each point over and stick the points of dough to the side dough.

Sprinkle with oregano and bake for 35 minutes at 190°C.

Let it cool slightly and serve, possibly with a green salad on the side.

TIP

Try making this dish with slices of pumpkin or celeriac instead of zucchini.
