Chicken with applesauce is Grace's all-time favorite. With this smiling little face, your toddler will finish their plate in no time.
Cook the potatoes until tender in their skins and peel them.
Peel the apple and the pear. Remove the core and cut the fruit into wedges.
Put the fruit in a saucepan and add a knob of butter and 2 tablespoons of water.
Put the lid on the saucepan and stew for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Remove the lid from the saucepan and let it simmer until the moisture is gone.
Cook the chicken sausage in a pan with butter until done.
Spoon the fruit puree in a circular shape on a plate. The sausage becomes a mouth and the potatoes are eyes.
