Which Airfryer is right for you?

Hey hey! We know by now: good preparation is half the work, but if there is one device that has completely changed my kitchen in recent years, it is the Philips Airfryer. I have been using Philips devices for 10 years now and I really couldn't do without it!

I get a lot of questions from you: "Sofie, which one do you really use?" or "Is that double basket really more convenient?". Time to set the record straight, because cooking should be fun, not stressful!

What makes all three of the models below unique is that each one has a powerful steaming function. By the way, Philips is also the only brand on the market that offers this innovative technology in its Airfryers!

What type are you?

Choose the air fryer that fits your job!

1. The Quick Bite & Compact Kitchens (single basket - 7.2 L)

Do you have a small household or simply no space for a device larger than your refrigerator? The Single Basket (like the 5000 series) is your compact powerhouse. This compact machine is the match for the curious minds among us: thanks to the handy viewing window, you can keep an eye on your dish while it cooks.

  • What can you do with it? The possibilities are endless. It is not just a machine for classic golden fries, but also for dishes like crispy chicken legs, croquettes, lasagna, or even a fluffy cake.
  • What do I think? No fuss, just cooking and enjoying. The design is cleverly thought out for the smaller kitchen: after use, you can even store the steam to gain even more space on your countertop. Ideal for those who love "snappy" and healthy!

2. THE MULTI-TASKER & SIDE HERO (DUAL BASKET - 3 L & 6 L)

Preparing two different dishes at the same time, without one getting cold while you wait for the other? Then the Dual Basket is perfect for you!

  • What can you do with it? This machine is a master at multitasking. In one basket, you can fry those crispy fries, potatoes, or delicious grilled vegetables, and in the other, you have full control with three powerful functions: Airfry, Steam, and Steamfry. Thanks to the Sync function, both baskets are ready at exactly the same time.

  • What do I think? This is the ultimate solution for those who love variety and efficiency. No more stress about timing; the Airfryer does the calculations for you.

The baskets and accessories can simply go in the dishwasher. No more endless scrubbing; we have better things to do, right? ;)

3. The Family Chef & Meal Prepper (mega basket - 10 L)

The Mega Basket is the king of air fryers. You have one gigantic basket where you can fit just about anything. Think of a whole chicken, an XL pizza, or a huge traybake. The latter is perfect when you want to cook a beautiful flank fish, roast a whole cauliflower, or prepare large pieces of vegetables all at once.

  • Why? You have one large space for XL dishes and traybakes, but you can also divide it, so you actually create two sections. This way, you have a kind of small tray and a large tray side by side for different preparations at the same time.
  • What do I think? Never wait again for the second batch of fries to finish while the rest is already eating. Sharing is caring!
50% faster than in an oven!

Sofie Dumont

Many people think that an air fryer is just a "quick fryer", but boy, you are missing out!

Let's be honest: not every air fryer is the same. Philips is the champion because they have perfected their technology down to the last detail. Thanks to the unique swirling of hot air, your food is ready up to 50% faster than in a regular oven. The result? Cooked inside but so crispy outside that the neighbors can hear it crackle.

My tips: Never overload the basket; give your ingredients room to 'breathe' for the best crust. Are you using the steam function? Then try baking bread with it; that steam provides a bakery-quality crunch that you wouldn't believe! It's also much more energy-efficient than heating that big oven every time.
