Preparation method

How do you make this?

Preheat the oven to 220 °C.

Tear or cut the oyster mushrooms into fine strips. Mix in a bowl with the gyros spices and olive oil. Spread them nicely on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 220 °C for about 20 minutes. Stir the mushrooms halfway through the baking time so they bake evenly crispy.

Slice the cucumber and radishes thinly and dice the tomato, and set everything on the table.

For the garlic sauce, put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix everything well together. Add harissa or sambal if you want it a bit spicier. Set it on the table.

Toast the pita breads in a toaster and cut them open. Place the breads in a basket.

How to fill? Generously spread the inside with garlic sauce. Fill with cucumber, tomato, radishes, white cabbage, and the mushroom gyros.
